The Chainsaw Proctologists nipped the SSB SSB Tar Heels in 10 innings 7 to 6
at the ballpark in a hard fought contest.
The game was deadlocked at 6 after nine full innings. Chainsaw came out the
victor in the 10th inning. After an out was recorded, Carlos Lee drew a
walk. Jack Wilson was next and he tripled scoring the run. Despite losing,
SSB out-hit Chainsaw 15 to 12.
The victory went to Erasmo Ramirez(1-1) who went 2 and 2/3 innings, allowing
no runs. Ramirez got relief help from Trevor Hoffman who gained credit for
his 11th save. Chris Reitsma(1-2) was the losing pitcher in relief. He gave
up 1 run and 1 hit in 2 and 2/3 innings.
With this win, Chainsaw has a 36-53 record. They have been 6-4 lately. With
the loss SSB now has a record of 56-33.
